What exactly is a Real Life Superhero (RLSH) ?

A Real Life Superhero or RLSH is an individual that is inspired by comic book superheroes. This person takes that inspiration and applies it to real life activism. The RLSH seeks to inspire and act as a symbol for good by performing random heroic acts of good deeds while in a superhero themed uniform and persona.

Is the Justice Alliance Initiative some kind of vigilante group ?

!!!ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We are not vigilantes. A vigilante is an individual that punishes criminals and violates their civil rights. We do NOT! punish criminals. We work with law enforcement  if a crime is committed. We only use force as a last resort. We only use force in self-defense of ourselves or another innocent person. Of course there are other things that we do in the J.A.I. other just assist law enforcement when it comes to patrols, but we're NOT! in any way affiliated with them nor are we law enforcement ourselves.

What is the origin of the name "Justice Alliance Initiative" ,Emblem and Overall?

The Name: "Justice Alliance Initiative" represents 3 things as follows: #1 "Justice"- Helping to serve Justice within the Law and not outside of it, #2 "Alliance"- Being an extra set of eyes and ears for local Law Enforcement or in this case an Ally to them. #3 "initiative"- Having the Initiative to fight and taking a stand against violent crime and the Name also came from the inspiration of the Avengers Initiative. The overall emblem is in the shape of a stop sign which is signifying to stop violent crime in our beloved country The USA and around the world. The Overall Organization has a some what military & patriotic inspiration, structure and emphasis.

What kind of training does your organization even have?

The J.A.I. has different kinds of training for different things but the basics are:

  • Citizen's arrest
  • Martial Arts
  • Basic First-Aid & CPR & other different certifications
  • Conflict Resolution and Scenario Training for patrol situations, etc.

Are you thrill seekers? Do you want to get into fights with individuals on the streets?

!!!ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We do not do this for thrills or want to fight anyone. We are against violence. When we are on the streets we patrol to prevent and stop violence. We never want to see anyone getting hurt and we do not want to get into a situation at all if it can be avoided. We would much rather talk a potentially volatile situation down then have to get physically involved. A slow and boring night on patrol is a good night for us.

Do you carry weapons on patrol?

Yes and No. Some of our members carry weapons on patrol and some do not. The JAI allows their members to carry only non-lethal weapons on patrol. Firearms and deadly weapons are strictly prohibited!!. Any self-defense weapons to be carried on patrol are subject to approval by the Division Commander and Sr. Chief Of the JAI.

Are you accountable?

Yes! We are private citizens and are subject to the same laws as everyone else. We have no special powers of search or arrest, etc.

What would you guys do if you saw someone raping, robbing or trying to kill someone on patrol?

We would physically intervene, protect the victim from further harm, make a citizen's arrest if it's safe to do so, and call 9-1-1.
