ANIMIAL PROTECTION UNIT (A.P.U.)

  The A.P.U. is geared towards assisting local animal control agencies through spotting stray animals and reporting them while also providing any other further assistance as needed. 

  The A.P.U. is also a pet outreach serving our community’s homeless population and their pets and just pets in general by providing pet food, supplies, feeders, and any kind of pet medical assistance.  

  It’s been estimated that at least 12% of the homeless population alone has at least one pet. The people that we serve from time to time tell us their animals provide care, comfort and companionship, also they often go without in order to care for the needs of their pets.
